In a word, Diana Patton and Tonja Ward are moms. We know that says it all, but there's so much more we want to share with you!
We at Fruit Simple chose Diana and Tonja to speak up for and connect with women everywhere. As the makers of Fruit Simple® Fruit Smoothies, we wrote the recipe book on refusing to make nutrition sacrifices in exchange for time. That's why we chose women who are putting a foot down at the thought of letting busy schedules stand in the way of their families' well-being.
These women know the tribulations, as well as the jubilations, that come with momhood. Like you, they work hard to make mealtime a family event, to overcome nutrition challenges, and to meet their own nutritional needs. Read a little more about them here.
Diana Patton is an inspirational speaker and certified holistic health counselor. With Tonja, she cofounded FITatudes, LLC, a Christian Wellness Company. They are also writing a book together titled The Ten FITatudes for a High Performance Lifestyle.
As proof of her busy-momhood, she has held director-level positions at a number of Fortune 500 companies and worked at law firms in Toledo, Ohio; she still has a license to practice law in the state. Currently, Diana serves on the board of Ohio Health Freedom and National Center for Parents. Diana resides in Toledo with her husband, David, and their two children.
Diana knows that moms want to connect with real people who have real life issues. In her own words, “I got ‘em.” She’s chosen to take better nutrition further through education, and she hopes this forum will serve as a tool to pass her knowledge on to parents like you.
In her personal “Diana” time, she competes in 5K, 10K, and mini-triathlon races. She sings in her church’s band, dances with her children, and works on becoming a better wife.

Tonja Ward is a certified fitness professional, holistic health counselor and the Health Editor for Houston Style Magazine. Prior to co-founding FITatudes LLC, Tonja held various law and sports marketing positions and served as an instructor with the Bee Fit Youth Program at Memorial Herman/HBU Wellness Center in Houston. She is licensed to practice law in New York.
Tonja lives in Houston with husband Charlie and their two children. She continues to work as a personal trainer at Houston’s Next Level Gym, and she serves on the advisory board for the Center for Research on Minority Health at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
All around her, Tonja sees that good nutrition is not the easy or popular choice for moms to make. She wants to be a cheerleader for those who want to go against the grain. She’s here to offer support, guidance, and a listening ear because she knows good nutrition doesn’t have to be a nightmare.
In her personal “Tonja” time, she enjoys reading her Bible, going to the gym, and taking guitar lessons with her son.
